Awaken Women’s Entrepreneurs is based in South Wales and is centred on being business support group for women who or have been in business. Maybe you have just started out or you are in the first few years of being a business owner or maybe you have retired yet feel you want to share your experiences to help others.

The History…

Awaken Women’s Entrepreneurs, business support group was born out of the Awaken Business Club. This club was initially established in 2017 following myself winning of the Business Wales Excellence In Mentoring Award.  

Trust me, I know what it is like to be alone, to sit at your kitchen table wondering what to do next to get your message out there. I have had sleepless nights and fearful days not knowing how I am going to pay this month’s bills and I have attended networking meetings full of seemingly successful business owners feeling like an imposter. Therefore, today I work with women just like you to help them on their business journey.

I have been a mentor since I commenced my management career back in 1981. Today I work with female business owners who want to move forward whilst working with a mentor who not only offers support around the practical side of business but who also is there to guide them around their anxieties and well-being as a business owner.

The Why…

Starting out in business is not an easy journey, it can be tough. There can be so many questions and so many stresses (and this is normal). It can also be lonely and scary. Around you there appears to be many business owners  who are telling you how successful they are, how they are flying and how indeed they make all look so easy.

Well, here is the thing – appearances can be deceiving so if you are looking for a business support group where you can be the real you, tears and all join this group. Here you will find there is no judgement on any level, everyone supports each other and where you can help for help in any area.

With many years in the business world both as an employed manger and laterally as a business owner I have mentored many to success for there is no path I have not trod!

Membership to this group is limited. It is my aim to work with you to get to know you and your business aims. Through the group I will guarantee you, as a business owner will never feel alone again.
